1847, 10c black. Large even margins, detailed impression and attractive shade, tied by red square grid, matching “New-York, Jan 20” cds on 1848 part printed Iron Market Prices Current from Liverpool, England which is dated Jan. 1, addressed to St. John’s, New Brunswick, manuscript “7” marking for Canadian rate, endorsed “pr. Cambia via New York” crossed out, St. Andrews and receiving backstamps, Very Fine, a beautiful example of the 1847 10c issue on printed circular from Liverpool, England carried outside mails to New York City and placed in mails to New Brunswick, ex Rust, Kapiloff, with 1992 and 2010 P.F. certificates. Scott No. 2; Estimate $3,000 - 4,000.
